JSS Academy of Technical Education (JSSATE) was established in the year 1997 at Bengaluru under the umbrella of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Mysuru. The Institution is presently affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University offering eight undergraduate and four postgraduate programs approved by the AICTE. The Institute has been accredited with an A+ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The Institute has also achieved a Performer Band in ARIIA ranking and Diamond Class in QS-I Gauge. The Institute has been awarded a 4-star rating by the Innovation Cell, Ministry of Education, Government of India, for the year 2023-24.
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in the year 1997, with the objective of imparting quality education in the field of Computer Science and Engineering. The Program is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) with current intake of 180 Students. The department has to its credit a team of qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty, whose main aim is to equip students with the knowledge and expertise to grow professionally and contribute significantly to the society. With a holistic approach to learning, students engage in hackathons, coding competitions, technical clubs, research projects, and internships to enhance their practical knowledge and problem-solving skills. The department's strong placement record with leading tech companies reflects its commitment to producing Industry-ready professionals and future innovators.
